Sorry, posting on here for traffic.
Has anyone on here ever tried CBD oil for whatever health reasons?
Whenever I ask on various Facebook groups lots of people tell me how great it is then I’m inundated with messages from those same people trying to sell me their products.

My DP tried it and is currently using it. In general he is less anxious in my opinion (might be placebo effect )but he said doesn't feel much different and is waiting a bit longer to see been about 3 weeks ish.

RhodaCamel · 05/07/2020 12:43

bunnyrabbit93 anxiety is one of the main reasons I would like to try it just a bit put off by the price.

Tried CBD gummies. They made me very very relaxed. Took them a good few times, fell asleep every time.

RhodaCamel · 05/07/2020 12:52

Mylittlepony374 that would be the outcome I’m looking for!

I got them from thecbdstore.ie they were the Natra brand. Can't remember what mg, I think it was the highest they offer but was a while ago now.
Hope they work for you too.

Yes, used it daily for a few months to help with teeth and jaw clenching. It worked a treat

CatPeach · 05/07/2020 13:18

I have, for depression and anxiety.

I found that lifted and also my energy levels were higher. I haven’t taken any for about 6 months now and still feel the same; haven't gone back to my pre-CBD feelings.

dogwithmohican · 05/07/2020 13:22

CBD oil made a huge difference to the severity of tremors my DF experiences as part of his Parkinson’s.

squashyhat · 05/07/2020 13:23

Yes - for anxiety and chronic pain. No discernible effect.

dogwithmohican · 05/07/2020 13:24

CBD Brothers is a reputable source

RhodaCamel · 05/07/2020 13:24

mylittlepony374 thanks, I’ll take a look at those.
olivesnutsandcheese that’s also one of my issues, I clench my jaw and grind my teeth at night which is causing my teeth to crack!
CatPeach I was thinking about this , my son had CBD capsules last year for bad anxiety, he took it for about 6 months and it really seemEd to have helped, he hasn’t taken anymore since. I thought it was just a placebo effect as he’s only 14 but maybe it genuinely worked.

Tried it for general well being and to feel more calm. Absolutely no effect whatsoever.

RhodaCamel · 05/07/2020 13:26

dogwithmohican that’s really promising. It was the CBD Brothers my son took.
squahyhat that’s good to hear.

pipandmum that’s disappointing especially as it isn’t a cheap product.

CBD vape seems to help to keep arthritis at bay. Can't speak for oil or capsules.

Molteni · 05/07/2020 13:52

I've tried it, didn't do anything for me. It was 125 € for one bottle (25 or 30 pct- don't remember a couple of years ago). I think a lot of it is down to a placebo-effect. They use it, and think maybe it made a difference and it will be worse if they stop using it.

On a brighter note I did like the free CBD lollipop that came with the product. Sport has a more noticeable effect.
