Hi, didn't know where to post but hopefully can get some help.
Very long story, a girl from my partners past has been making up credit accounts in his name, we know it's her because she tried threatening him to agree to them.Messages that have been deleted because he did try and hide this from me!!. We found out by doing a credit check.
We've sent a digital report in to action fraud. Shes tried setting up 17 credit accounts in 6 months and when I found out and confronted her shes gone very quiet and blocked us. And since no new accounts have been opened.
She failed with the accounts by the looks of things because they are open but credit limit is zero, I'm guessing because she put the wrong date of birth in, can action fraud actually find out if it was her? Trace where they accounts were opened or do they not look that into it?.
