I'm nearly 30 and have never, ever dated. Split from my husband about four months ago, signed up to online dating maybe a month or so ago and have had a few very casual encounters.
A couple of days ago I got talking to someone who has just asked me out on a date. He knows my situation (recently single mum of one) and that I want to take things slow, and has suggested a day date next weekend, so not too soon.
I dont know how to date! I am awkward and weird. And he also happens to look like a damn Greek god or something which is making me super nervous because I'm frumpy. He seems sweet but aware you cannot get to know someone very well in 48 hours online.
Should I be playing it cool? Because I am not cool. I dont know what is a normal amount to talk to someone in the lead up to a date. I dont know what to wear, what to do, what to say. Please help me, experienced daters?!
