@angelfacecuti75 Grin I’m glad you’ve made that clear - this thread is attracting some rude posters this evening. I’ve been accused of prejudice by a very rude person merely because I described a man’s accent. Hmm You can tell the pubs have reopened! Grin

I’m disabled and move more slowly than average. Mostly people are kind but there are exceptions. A horrible woman shoved me aside to reach the supermarket till before me. She was in such a hurry that she charged out of the shop leaving her bank card in the card reader.

SerenityNowwwww · 04/07/2020 23:37

We were waiting to cross the road and a taxi came haring up to the lights alongside a bike and the driver was giving the cyclist a mouthful as they both stopped at the lights.

The taxi driver carried on yelling at the cyclist and waving his arms - the cyclist just looked at him - then pulled out his police ID Card...

I was a tour rep having the absolute airport run from hell, out of my control stuck on a coach going round and round in the heat picking ppl up from their hotels....majority were lovely but one woman was really vile to me when I told her I wasn’t her coach and the next one would be along soon.
She started effing and jeffing at me so I told her not to worry as her flight was delayed by 7 hours anyway so no need to worry about being late.

It wasn’t delayed at all but seeing her furious face like a goldfish as I drove off made me feel a bit better about being called several names! The next bus turned up in 15 minutes but I bet she was livid and pissed off for those full 15 minutes!

Purplealienpuke · 05/07/2020 00:09

A vile woman on a train and her two male companions were very loudly discussing explicit sexual content whilst getting very drunk.
I was with my young grandchild. There was nowhere to move to and no guards.
I asked politely if they'd tone it down.
I then became the focus of their vitriol. For 3 hours. It was awful. Not one person stuck up for me.
I would have lost my shit had I been on my own. Instead I said nothing. My grandchild had headphones, thankfully missing a lot of what was aimed at me.
They appeared to be getting off at the stop before us, staggering out of their seats.
SHE fell over. Flat on her face. Karma is a bitch.
Only then did people make eye contact with me and mutter about how awful they'd been 🙄
They got off at the same stop as us. I avoided them.
I cried buckets when I got home 😭

@Purplealienpuke
That's awful. Was it for the whole train journey?
I travel a lot with my granddaughter.

jackdaw141 · 05/07/2020 00:35

Bloody hell! Pubs are open and it’s a full moon tonight.

jackdaw141 · 05/07/2020 00:38

When there was a drunk and abusive person on the train, I texted BTP and gave them the service details, carriage letter and seat number. 20 minutes later as we pulled up at Milton Keynes two BTP officers were waiting at the precise place the carriage door opened. Only had to do it once.

BSintolerant · 05/07/2020 00:49

@jackdaw141 I didn’t realise it was a full moon. That certainly explains a lot! Grin

And “moon” rhymes with “spoon.” I hope I’ve offended every English speaker on the planet by pointing that out. Wink

It's really annoying when you come to a thread a day or two in and you're all ranting about a messgae which has since been deleted, so frustrating, I've no idea what you're all goining on about with Jackdaw and Monty

Horrible, incompetent, boss bullied me relentlessly for 2 years till I finally quit. She was actually evil. She left shortly afterwards for a job she was blatantly under qualified for. Got sacked within 4 months for bullying. Soon after lost her house and split with her husband.
Within the same period, I got a much better job, got our dream home and fell pregnant with our longed for child.
It’s called karma and it’s pronounced ha-ha-ha!

Cornetto69 · 05/07/2020 01:18

@Casschops

A girl moved into a neighbouring house and proceeded to systematically abuse and bully me from being 10 - 13 she was vile. She had more money than me and nicer clothes. Eventually she got bored but would shout at me in the street if she was in the mood. Years later we both happened to be at a train station at the same time. She looked very well dressed with very nice tailored leather jacket It was icy and the platfrom was not well gritted. She was that busy giving me evils that she smacked into a concrete pillar grazed her face and ripped a chunk of fabric out of her coat. Both of us still lived on the same street, I went over gave her my hand, pulled her up and took her home She couldn't make eye contact all the way home funny she smiles at me now. She was expecting me to give her a kick, I totally had the upper hand.
@Casschops beautiful story- you handled the situation in a way with no malice, showing that you are a classy lady. I like this kind of karma story.
Cornetto69 · 05/07/2020 01:20

@Pelleas

And I had a guide dog

That's such a depressing snapshot of modern 'manners'. You'd think that people (who are fit enough to stomp up the train to find the conductor) would be offering seats to people with guide dogs, not turfing them out of them.

This. 100%

Story a friend told me.

She was in her town centre, there was a car parked in the town square, driver pulls ashtray out and empties it onto the street, she saw red, said I think you've dropped something, scooped up the fag ends and dropped them through his sun roof. You can say that was wrong but I thought it was brilliant, wish I had the guts to call people out on littering.

That must of been horrid for you and scary too no doubt , I know it is to late now but if you or anyone else finds them in that situation as pp said you can text 61016 and report it , the police or train guards will get on at the next stop and sort the idiots out .
I have had to use the number twice , both times the police were swift and very firm with the aggressors

Taetoes · 05/07/2020 03:09

Had a miserable neighbour who complained constantly about us parking in our own driveway opposite her house... won't go into details but my landlord concreted a post into the ground to show it was our driveway and before it dried I drew a big arrow in it pointing at her house and wrote the word cunt in it. I don't live there anymore but she does and it's still there over 10years later. Beautiful Grin

I used to do trains a lot, and got sick of seeing arseholes avoiding anyone non white after big incidents. I seem to attract them near me, a white female. Luckily, I work in CT and so I just get all my Arabic notes and terrorist literature out. The colour really drains out of them Grin

BSintolerant · 05/07/2020 03:27

@Nanajadus I suggest you stop harassing me.

This happened to an ex of a relative. He was a contractor in computers and had a very inflated sense of his own worth. Got a gig at a big private bank in the city. Relative had friends working their.This was in the 80s and they had a Doorman and a lift operator. First day got in lift with an older man. Was very rude and disparaging about Doorman and then very rude to lift guy who he’d asked for wrong floor. Older man strikes up conversation where ex bigs himself up. Walk to reception on their floor. Where older man says “mr x won’t be staying, he obviously cannot be polite to other people. I’ll be sure to pass your name to other businesses as someone to avoid.” receptionist says “yes, mr name of bank.”

@OldCow1

Years ago on the tube, someone got up to offer a seat to a pregnant woman and a guy shot past her and sat on the seat. When people looked astonished he winked and said "it's a tough world." At the next stop, the guy sat next to him grabbed the guy's briefcase and through it out onto the platform. As the guy flew out after it he said " yep, it's a tough world"
I’m pretty sure I was this pregnant lady or a version of ...
