We need some good revenge stories to lift our spirits after reading about all the random acts of nastinesses on here www.mumsnet.com/Talk/am_i_being_unreasonable/3953798-to-ask-if-a-stranger-has-ever-been-nasty-to-you?msgid=97985195

I was once driving on a street I know well. Residential, so a 30mph limit. But v v wide road and pavements and very few pedestrians.

I was driving at 30mph when car comes up behind me at speed. On my bumper, flashing lights.

So I moved over into the bus lane and he sped off.

Huge satisfaction at watching the newly installed speed camera flash him twice

My friend's story.

Her DS managed to catch chickenpox, then flu with a high fever and then some sort of vomiting bug - all in the span of two weeks.
The school got very suspicious about his attendance and insisted on a home visit. One of the admin team came, declared that the boy absolutely did not look ill to her and gave my friend a lecture about managing maternal anxiety and the importance of education. Then she kneeled next to the boy and started a "you should really go back to school, buddy", just to receive a projectile explosive vomit back all over her nice blouse Envy

A girl moved into a neighbouring house and proceeded to systematically abuse and bully me from being 10 - 13 she was vile. She had more money than me and nicer clothes.
Eventually she got bored but would shout at me in the street if she was in the mood.
Years later we both happened to be at a train station at the same time. She looked very well dressed with very nice tailored leather jacket
It was icy and the platfrom was not well gritted. She was that busy giving me evils that she smacked into a concrete pillar grazed her face and ripped a chunk of fabric out of her coat.
Both of us still lived on the same street, I went over gave her my hand, pulled her up and took her home
She couldn't make eye contact all the way home funny she smiles at me now. She was expecting me to give her a kick, I totally had the upper hand.

That OP threw HER DOGS shit on their windscreen, she didn't pick up human shit from the street as that hadn't happened.

My error.

I misread, WhereIlive

Worked in a fast food burger place when I was a teen. We used ro put coupons on the trays to encourage people to come back. They would usually be handed out a week or so before they were actual valid. Busy Saturday lunchtime and a woman comes in and orders 2 large signature burger meals (lots of fillings and sauce on said burger). Get the order ready, hand it over and she sees the coupons. Asks why I didn't give her it before she ordered and wanted a refund for the promo amount. Explained that it wasn't valid yet and there was no way to enter it on the system to give her it at that price. She absolutely loses it, picks up the tray and throws the lot at me. The drinks and burgers hit the counter and fall on the customer side. After a slue of name calling and threats I refund her so she'll leave. Turns around and slips arse over elbow in the mess that she's made, bangs her head on the counter and has to walk the length of the store past 100 or so customers covered in mayo, salad and coke. She never came back with her voucher 😂

Thank you mumwon - that info re: the letters is actually very useful. My DS has had various debt agencies chasing him for years for the debt of a previous tenant in a property he rented. As sod's law would have it, they both have the same first and surname (unusual surname, too, but no relation). Different middle names, though.

cleanasawhistle · 04/07/2020 21:26

Long time ago as a teenager....going out with some friends we decided to meet on the same bus.
One friend had to get on the bus alone quite a few stops before the rest of us. When we got on friend was upset because two teenage girls at the back had been shouting horrible names at her.
Quite clearly she is on her own lets bully her.

Not really proud but they got a taste of their own medicine

@Swiftier

This isn’t one where someone has been personally nasty to me but anyway.

I live next to one of the big Royal Parks in London which has been really busy the last few weeks and we’ve had lots of antisocial behaviour. I was chatting to a neighbour outside as I was about to walk my dog one evening. A car of three young women pulled up and they got out of the car and proceeded to go behind our garages and use them as a loo. I get that there’s limited loos around, but the loos in the park are actually open now. Besides - they just arrived so surely should have gone before they left to travel here. They left used tissues and everything, really gross.

I went on my dog walk and when my dog did a poo, I picked it up in the bag and had an idea. Dropped the poo back out of the bag and onto their car windscreen. It was a bit of a soft poo so not sure how they’d clean it off Wink

Brilliant 😂

I switched from a professional role to working in my family business which is a niche industry. My Dad & I decided I needed experience outside the family business so when he heard from someone near me they needed staff I interviewed and got a job local to me in the industry.

There was a real culture of bullying led from the top loads of staff started and left quickly. There were two ring leaders who were horrible to everyone including me. Anyway I decided to get an industry qualification which involves an exam and a mock interaction with a customer. As soon as they found out about this they ensured I was always working in the quiet office and for about 3 months didn't actually get to interact with customers they took every job. They would also tell me how hard the exam and mock customer exam was and how one of them failed first time.

So took the exam and passed which was great to announce to them, what was even better was when I got a phone call whilst they were in the office asking why I had put down not to attend the award ceremony, I was then asked to please attend as i'd received the top marks in the country Grin
There was a photo of me in all the industry magazines it was great.

They were still horrible and continued to be nasty including clearing my desk including kids photos and chucking them all in a box rearranging the office so that I had to work in reception. I eventually quit and went and worked for my family.

Many years ago =, at the start of mobile phones I was on a train with a young man talking into his brick, really showing off, "Buy this sell that,"

Anyway someone was taken ill, possible heart attack. Someone told young man to phone 999 and get an ambulance to meet us at the next station.

He was very shamefaced.... Apparently it was a fake!

The man who was ill was taken off by ambulance at the next station, the guard phoned through.

Staffy1 · 04/07/2020 22:17

@CassChops, that's really lovely, and probably so much more satisfying than a nasty revenge. Wish I could be more like you.

Today I was driving at the speed limit, god forbid, when the white Mercedes behind me decided I was going to slow (we’ve all been there). So, at the earliest opportunity, he flew into the lane to the left of me. For the next three sets of lights he sped off and I met him there. It was starting to get funny until he sped off at the last set of lights and got stuck behind 6 cars while I cruised by.........it’s the little things that make me happy, I made the round about and he was stuck in traffic!

@Nanajadus okay, I’m sorry for outing you as the annoying man on the train. I won’t do it again. I’m sure not all Scousers are like you. Grin

Ps I have nothing against elderly people, just rude people....

ItsNotAGameOfSubbuteoMatthew · 04/07/2020 23:13

Dickhead MD bullied me but I ended up leaving for a job at his arch rival firm. If I'd been older I might have fought for constructive dismissal.

A couple of years later (small industry) a common link got in touch to say the MD had lost an unfair dismissal case against a really great colleague who he'd sacked for ridiculous reasons. Great colleague took MD to the cleaners and the company wobbled before surviving. Arsehole.
