We need some good revenge stories to lift our spirits after reading about all the random acts of nastinesses on here www.mumsnet.com/Talk/am_i_being_unreasonable/3953798-to-ask-if-a-stranger-has-ever-been-nasty-to-you?msgid=97985195

I was threatened by a man with a dog tugging on the dogs collar getting it pumped up and going I’m going to let my dog on you etc. The next week I watched him be threatened in exactly the same way by a bigger man with a bigger dog. I sat down and watched the show, he clocked me and I think it furthered his embarrassment.

I do feel uncomfortable with the rush to go to people employers and glee at getting them in trouble or fired for disputes particularly on the internet. Unless they’re putting someone’s safety in jeopardy like reckless driving while on the job, or they’re in a protection role like social services, police, teacher etc. and they’ve given serious reason for concern in that role.

I used to work in a busy sports bar where the bar top would frequently get covered in little puddles of spilt beer. When it came to pay there were quite a few customers who would put their money directly on the bar so I'd have to scrable around for it in a puddle of beer. Funny how none of them liked it when I put their change back the exact same way in as many 5ps as possible Grin

At school my sister was being bullied by a group of nasty girls. She never wanted anyone to confront them as she was concerned the bullying would worsen. One day in the corridor I was standing behind this group of girls and they began to talk about my sister and their plans to hurt her. They didn’t know who I was until I introduced myself and told them in no uncertain terms to leave my sister alone. Funnily enough the bullying stopped that day.

I had a friend who used to live with her Brother who was lazy and never helped her with the housework so she used to get her revenge on him by cleaning the bathroom taps with his toothbrush Smile

I was heading for the disabled space in the crowded car park by my high street, I have a blue badge. A blond girl in a convertible cut me up and parked in it and run away. No blue badge on her car. Shortly after I noticed her in Costa coffee with a guy, she was flicking her hair about and rolling her eyes at him, looked like a first date scenario. I went over and said very loudly 'you seem to have forgotten to put your blue badge on the windscreen when you took the disabled space' her face was Scarlett and the guy looked mortified to be with her.

Many years ago, when people first started having earphones to play music on the train, one woman had hers up particularly loudly. The hiss was awful, everyone was looking at her, then one brave soul leant a cross and tapped her knee and asked her to turn it down. She was told to f.Off.

The woman with the earphones was wearing open toed sandals and the one opposite stilletos . The language when she stamped down on earphone woman’s foot as she left the carriage was very colourful. Much smirking around the carriage.

Aged 17 on my first holiday to Spain without parents, walking on beach with my friend when a middle aged man came up from behind and touched my bum, I turned around and he tried to kiss me, with his tongue sticking out, he was truly vile.
He laughed as he walked away.
That evening we saw him with wife and two children so we trailed him for the whole evening just to watch him sweat, we ate in the same restaurant and the same place for drinks. I've never seen a man look so nervous. Probably not the best way to deal with it but at 17 it made me feel better.

CluelessBaker · 03/07/2020 08:24

@Monty27 I don’t understand the point you’re making. It does look like you might have misunderstood @jackdaw141’s story. What about it do you think isn’t in the spirit of the thread?

icedaisy · 03/07/2020 08:25

I agree @CluelessBaker , super confusedConfused

A stranger behind me at the petrol station. Mansplaining how I should use the pump at the very front so other cars could pull up behind. And shouting at me to pull forwards. I explained several times the pump wasn't usable. Paid and moved forward. He ignored the pump I used, pulled to the first one and shouted "this is the one you should have used" and a load of stuff about female drivers
Only to then see for himself the out of order sign on it and he couldn't reverse back as there was a car behind him so he had to queue again

When we first moved into this house the old man 2 doors down came to ours and started shouting at us about our cats and kids. How this was a quiet street ( cats hadnt been let out at this point as we had just moved and my kids are 3 and 5 )

Well, 6 months later and there are several new builds across the road, all 3 beds, all full of families, cats and someone has a dog that wont stop barking Grin

Say goodbye to your quiet street ya nasty old man Grin

Monty
I'm guessing the "not me"
Was for not letting the money go as it was only a fiver?

It's not 100% clear?

Celticdawn5 · 03/07/2020 08:39

It wasn’t jackdaw141 doing the selling @Monty27

OhWhatFuckeryIsThisNow · 03/07/2020 08:41

Um, yes, you have Monty27.Jackdaw141 is outing the fraudsters, Jackdaw isn’t a fraudster.

Swiftier · 03/07/2020 08:41

This isn’t one where someone has been personally nasty to me but anyway.

I live next to one of the big Royal Parks in London which has been really busy the last few weeks and we’ve had lots of antisocial behaviour. I was chatting to a neighbour outside as I was about to walk my dog one evening. A car of three young women pulled up and they got out of the car and proceeded to go behind our garages and use them as a loo. I get that there’s limited loos around, but the loos in the park are actually open now. Besides - they just arrived so surely should have gone before they left to travel here. They left used tissues and everything, really gross.

I went on my dog walk and when my dog did a poo, I picked it up in the bag and had an idea. Dropped the poo back out of the bag and onto their car windscreen. It was a bit of a soft poo so not sure how they’d clean it off Wink

Flyingarcher · 03/07/2020 08:44

@Monty27 Yes, I think you have. You might have misread it as being Jackdaw's family business ( which it isn't). So a previously sound high street provider is taken over by new generation who go to internet sales selling low cost goods. However, people never receive the goods, ie, goods are non-existent. Because goods are only worth a fiver, most people just write it off but super sleuth Jackdaw has researched and alerted the authorities to the true nature of the scam.

MagentaRocks · 03/07/2020 08:47

@Monty27 you have got the wrong end of the stick. Jackdaw is saying that she didn’t let them get away with it, if you read her next post you will see what she did about it. You need to read the full thread.

OhWhatFuckeryIsThisNow · 03/07/2020 08:47

At playground On holiday at a resort with dc, dc2 was only about 3 and a bigger boy pushed past him and said “shift it fatty” only to trip over an adults outstretched feet. His irate dm then had a go at the mortified adult with colourful language. Attendant arrived and kicked family out For swearing, smoking, drinking and the kid shouldn’t have been in the under five playground.
Ds was totally oblivious.

Greenkit · 03/07/2020 08:48

Jackdaw has two posts....first about a business selling non existent stock

And the second where they found out all the details and reported them.
