Is mumsnet suddenly green ?

I'm not very Internet savvy so is the opening post suddenly green. Or have I pressed something without realising. It's very nice anyway.

Mine is. And other weird extras.

Most likely you've pressed something without realising... Original poster and any updates she/he may do are later on are also green for me although I chose that in Options about six years ago when I last bothered to go there! My own contributions always turn up in lilac - also chosen by me about six years ago.

OP posts are always green for me, mine are pink

Mine has been set like that for a while. I thought it was the default but apparently not. I do like the “see all OP’s post” feature. It helps check what been said quickly, so you don’t suggest something inapplicable.

I have the same settings as MoaningMinniee which I also set up myself. But I now have a ‘see all’ button at the bottom of your post OP. I love that! It will save so much scrolling.

Same here.

Mine have always been green. It has changed today though - at the bottom it say “OP’s posts - see all” etc - that is new. At least it is for me anyway - use MN on phone and not in the app.

OPs have suddenly turned green for me today as well, which they never were before. Infact they weren't even a few hours ago, so I was a bit surprised when i came on here just now and there was green. Some settings must have been changed.

It's because of the new feature where you can see all OPs posts without having to scroll through an entire thread.
Although I've always had OPs posts highlighted green (mine are pink- wonder why so many of us chose that combo)

Ha, we must have been part of an experiment. Evidently, Mumsnet has found green OP to be beneficial for users.

I've also started seeing "Show all OP's posts" so I don't have to scroll through hundreds of pages to get my fill of drip feeds. Nice - good feature, MN.
