Can't see why the OP's opening post is now green. And then the constant additions where you can click on and see all of a person's posts? Not sure it adds anything to a thread.

OP posts:
ArriettyJones · 02/07/2020 19:56

I like it.

Twickerhun · 02/07/2020 19:57

I like it. Users have been asking for this function for years.

thenightsky · 02/07/2020 19:58

Mine hasn't changed. OP's post is still the same colour I chose many years ago.

Cornishmendoitdrekkly · 02/07/2020 19:58

I like it too. Sorry OP.

nokidshere · 02/07/2020 19:58

Has it changed? I thought it had always been green? How do you see all a persons post?

ButtWormHole · 02/07/2020 19:59

I LOVE it. Op updates at the click of a button? I’m in!

Mirror2345 · 02/07/2020 19:59

I've always had OP post in green, and quite often only read them, especially on long threads full of 'cancel the cheque' and the like. I think it's great.

ShebaShimmyShake · 02/07/2020 20:00

I've always had OP posts highlighted, much prefer it.

What I'd like is some kind of reaction/response function on posts (eg options to "like", emoji reactions or a way of scoring the post numerically) and to be able to edit quotes posts so you don't need to replicate the entire thing.

HollysBush · 02/07/2020 20:02

OPs post has always been green for me but I’m not sure about the new ‘see all of OPs posts/ skip to next’ kind of thing. But it’s new and after a while you won’t notice it. It will be handy sometimes

ChicCroissant · 02/07/2020 20:04

I always have the OP's posts highlighted in a colour presumably that I picked ages ago and my own posts highlighted so I can spot them. I like the new feature where you can click to just see the OP's posts.

Clawdy · 02/07/2020 20:04

It only changed today for me. Guess I just don't like change! Never seen that green before.

I like being able to see all of OPs posts at the click of a button.

I've had OP posts set to green for years. (Mine are purple/pink)

JeSuisPrest · 02/07/2020 20:06

Love the see all OP posts feature. It's just saved me scrolling 150 posts on a "How old do I look thread" to find out the OP hasn't said how old she is yet.. Hmm

RoseGoldEagle · 02/07/2020 20:06

I think it’s brilliant! Only changed for me today too. Don’t get what’s not to like- you can just ignore it, but means you don’t have to scroll through loads of pages to get the next update from the OP

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 02/07/2020 20:07

I love it. OPs posts have always been green for me. I like to be able to just read the ops posts on long threads.

TheFormerPorpentinaScamander · 02/07/2020 20:08

ShebaShimmyShake

able to edit quotes posts so you don't need to replicate the entire thing.

Copy and paste. although I get slightly irked when people do this but don't use bold or italics so its hard to know which bit is a quote

leftovercoffeecake · 02/07/2020 20:09

It’s always been green for me.

I like it. Because you’re not seeing all their posts ever. Just the ones on that thread. That’s going to be pretty handy for threads that are loads of pages! Especially when an OP has said something on page 7 and people who haven’t read the full thread are parroting what’s been said too many times from the first page Grin

QueSera · 02/07/2020 20:09

Always been green to me, that's a good few years.
And I love the new feature to 'see all' OP's posts - finally!!

gingganggooleywotsit · 02/07/2020 20:09

I really like it, it's great being able to find the op's updates easily.

Sniv · 02/07/2020 20:13

I think it's brilliant.

Yeah, I usually do that with asterisks to bold but it's a bit of a pain. If there's going to be a quote function I'd like to be able to cut the irrelevant bits out.

I guess they're worried that people might abuse the function to make it look like the quoted poster said, "I'm a smelly poo" or whatever. It does happen sometimes on forums that enable it, but it's usually pretty obvious what's going on.

PleasantVille · 02/07/2020 20:16

Why wouldn't you want to be able to see the OP's posts highlighted, I've been very surprised at all the threads about this today where posters don't have it, how on earth do you follow long threads?

You don't need to keep it as green though you can (or used to be able to I've not checked) change it to a different colour in your settings.

Iv got op's colour as a dark pink and my posts are dark green.

TheFormerPorpentinaScamander · 02/07/2020 20:28

@ShebaShimmyShake yes I guess it is a bit of a pain. I've been doing it so long now I'm just used to it.

My thoughts exactly. Use it or ignore it, as you wish, but at least it removes the excuse from those who wade in at the end who clearly haven't RTFT OR even all of the OP's posts.
