Are all OPs green?

Just that.

OP posts:
BabyLlamaZen · 02/07/2020 14:08

Sometimes it's purple. How weird.

BabyLlamaZen · 02/07/2020 14:09

Oh nope
That's just mine that are purple Grin

Spidey66 · 02/07/2020 14:10

I've only ever seen my posts in a different colour when I'm using my tablet and not the laptop or my work PC.

I swear blind I'm logged in otherwise I wouldn't be posting!

Windyone · 02/07/2020 14:11

I’ve never seen this before but it’s just happened on my account. Wonder what colour mine are :)

TeenPlusTwenties · 02/07/2020 14:11

Oh wicked. Smile

I have my settings (laptop) set to display the OPs in green (and mine in pink, MN in blue), but the See All to only filter on the OP's posts is new and ace. On a long thread you can jump or filter to just see the OP's stuff. Grin

Spidey66 · 02/07/2020 14:13

So how come I don't have the option? Is it because I'm a cheapskate who doesn't pay?

WhenISnappedAndFarted · 02/07/2020 14:17

My OP posts have always been blue for me. I've not ever changed it and didn't realise you could

Spidey66 · 02/07/2020 14:18

How bizarre. I'm aware of the new feature, and I knew I could see my posts in a different colour on my tablet, but never knew that previously you could see the OP posts in one colour and my own in another on an ordinary laptop/PC.

Spidey66 · 02/07/2020 14:18

Please can someone explain how I can change it when I don't seem to have a customise function?

Iwalkinmyclothing · 02/07/2020 14:19

Click on the arrow next to "Talk", then on 'customise' and you can choose

Are all OPs green?
Meandyouandyouandme · 02/07/2020 14:20

Yes OP are green for me, and mine are purple, customised it ages ago.

Thank you!

Dragonglass · 02/07/2020 14:28

What is new, is the link to see all of OPs posts in the first post.

CherieBabySpliffUp · 02/07/2020 14:28

I know they were coloured but I can't remember which one I set. Mine were purple I think.

TerrapinStation · 02/07/2020 14:33

@Spidey66

I've never seen OPs posts as a different colour Confused
How tedious must your MN experience have been, did you have to read and check every name to follow an OP's story.

I'd have given up after a week of that I think

rosiejaune · 02/07/2020 14:34

OP posts have always been purple for me, and mine are green (if logged in).

This new See all OPs posts might be useful if you could open it in a new tab, but you can't; you have to use the one you're already in, which is annoying.

TheFormerPorpentinaScamander · 02/07/2020 14:41

I remember when I first found out I could change the colour of OPs and my posts. It was better than Christmas Grin

I don't seem to be able to customise them anymore though so can't change them from the green/pink combo

I wonder how many people are the same - it would certainly explain why some posters seem completely unaware of the fact that the OP has answered every question and provided a very clear update.

I'm absolutely not targeting that comment at you personally @Spidey66, but I have sometimes been baffled when posters claim not to have seen any updates - if the OP's posts aren't in a different colour in the first place then that explains a lot.

LoseLooseLucy · 02/07/2020 14:50

If you're on the mobile site (rather than the app), if you scroll right down to the bottom of the page it should say "desktop site". If you click on that you should get the option to customise your colours, and also you can change the number of replies on a page.
You can then change back to mobile site by scrolling back to the bottom and clicking on it.

Thanks. I assumed it was a mobile site issue . I might go and change it, although I've had it this way for so long that I'll be confused Grin
LemonBreeland · 02/07/2020 14:53

Mine are purple for OP and pink for me. I love the new button to see all of the OPs posts though. So handy on really long threads.

LoseLooseLucy · 02/07/2020 14:53

Haha me too, I've left mine how it was Grin

Moongirl10 · 02/07/2020 14:56

OPs posts were never a different colour for me. I always had to search the threads for the OP’s username to find out any updates, it was a nightmare!
They’ve changed to green today, this will make things much easier Smile

How could it possibly be confusing to see at a glance which are the OP's posts? I can't imagine anyway that wouldn't be a good thing Confused
LoseLooseLucy · 02/07/2020 15:00

I was replying to a PP regarding changing the colours I've used for years. I can't imagine reading it without the OPs posts being unhighlighted.
