My parents are looking to relocate closer to me and my kids (rural area) but can not find any affordable houses suitable for them. I did see a plot of land with planning permission. I'm wondering AIBU to think it could be possible to build a small 2-3 bedroom timber framed (due to fast build time) for around 80k? They wouldn't be looking high end finishes just comfortable living. I've no idea if building nor does my family. Thanks
