Posted for traffic here as I need good suggestions.
I've been given an unexpected pressie consisting of 4 days stay in a seaside gorgeous hotel here in England, so no long travel involved.
We have an only child and he is a teenager so it won't be a problem if they are at home while I'm away.

I've been working very long hours and I really need a break. "Me time" at last! At the same time I feel a bit overwhelmed and I don't know where to start!
What would you do after months of lockdown mode and all of a sudden a chance to have time for yourself? Tell me your ideas apart from catching up on sleeping and a long bubble bath and chocolate.

I'd walk and explore. And sit by the sea. I'd read mindless books and maybe a good one. I'd eat food in my room and buy expensive wine and drink it until I started singing or I passed out. Sleep!!!

Wait till you are allowed to go. The government has made such a terrible mess of everything that I fear that there will be a surge of new cases. Senior medic friends agree

@Euclid I know I must admit is a bit scary too but is a quiet seaside town.
