Advice regarding non refund of a return

5 replies

I ordered 2 pairs of trousers from an online company, based in Denmark. I kept one pair and returned the other for a refund via DPD as requested on their website.
I didn’t hear anything for a few weeks so I emailed to ask if they’d received the return (tracking shows they did). They replied to say that they had received a parcel but hadn’t any paperwork and they asked me to confirm what I returned. I did this but haven’t had anything else from them despite sending numerous emails to chase them up.
Does anyone know what else I can do? I’ve tried ringing but no one answers.
I paid by credit card if that means anything. Thanks

Tweet, facebook, anything public.

If the organisation is involved with social media, they will act promptly.
If they aren't - they probably won't notice.

Trust Pilot reviews?

@EveryDayIsADuvetDay

Thanks for replying. I’ve sent a message via FB Messenger. Actual FB doesn’t accept comments. I’m not on Twitter.
Just looking on TrustPilot it seems like a lot of people have had problems with this company. I didn’t check before. I just assumed they’d be ok as I’ve bought their stuff before but always from a local boutique which was closed due to lockdown when I ordered these.

Did you pay by PayPal? You can start a dispute and upload evidence. They contact the seller and give them X days to respond, usually the seller issues a refund or they ignore, and PayPal find the case in your favour and refund you anyway.

Or credit card protection if it was over £100?

MarieInternette · 02/07/2020 09:27

I paid by credit card.
The amount of the original order was over £100 but as I kept half of it, the refund would be £66.
Maybe I’ll try and contact my credit card (that’ll be a job in itself)
