Four weeks ago I found a lymph node between my jaw and earlobe went to the doctors and has bloods done which came back fine and was told if it gets any bigger or more appear I'd be sent for an ultrasound. I went back yesterday as another four have appeared at the back of my ear on the same side as first one and two on each side of my occipital lobe. So I'm getting sent for ultrasound. My mum died of lymphoma and I'm petrified that theres something seriously wrong

Oh sweetie

So not a dr but if your bloods are ok isn't this a good sign? Lymph nodes are funny buggers - dd has a couple that just never go down. Mine go up and down like yo-yos.

How are you feeling in yourself? Anything else to concern you?

Get another appointment with the gp and go from there but please try not to get ahead of yourself

Sorry - misread that you've gone back which is good. But still don't get ahead of yourself

Even though it's a blood cancer it doesnt always show up in blood tests, my mums never. I have the slightest scratchy throat that started yesterday but I dont know if this is because I'm a mouth breather so it could just be a dry throat due to this.

I hope it's nothing sinister. Mine got as big as an egg on each side. I had a nasty bacterial infection that needed two different kinds of antibiotics to shift. After that it was gone. That was 15 years ago. I hope yours is something simple too.
