Hello...my 10 year old son has developed a group of tiny flat warts on his (beautiful) face on his cheeks - does anyone have any experience of them - seems lie the NHS wont treat them and say they go on their own - was wondering how long - he is getting very self-concious...

I had one on my hand and it did disappear but I did have it for a good few years before.

Hi Tarabee
You will need see a private dermatologist.
They might freeze them or you can try to persuade them to give you adapalene/differin. Or you could try Neostrata gel plus salycilic (amazon)which might help. If you Google you will see a study.
Goodluck let me know how you get on.

Hi Pollypocket21 - thanks so much. Do you know what? I treated them myself - with a teeny tiny (1 drop) of tea tree oil in 3 drops of almond oil mixed together - applied it with a cotton bud directly on top of each one for a couple of nights in a row and within a week they were diminishing and then ten or so days later they have gone! Haven't even thoght about them for aamonth...I can't believe that it was actually as easy as this???
