Aibu or is there no point in wearing a face mask on public transport if you then pull it down every few seconds to eat crisps or swig pop?

If it bothers you so much say something next time, we are a society of people trying to work towards better things so call people out on doing things you don't think are for the better of everyone, don't just watch it happen and shrug then complain about it online.

Be the positive change you want to see in the world.

People pay lip service to the rules though. Ok i'll wear a mask on the train to follow the rule but i'm still going to sit there and eat my fucking dinner.

This is one of the reasons mask wearing is pointless 🤷‍♀️

I wouldn't say I shrugged, I more rolled my eyes then complained online... I take your point but calling strangers out doesn't always go down well. Even if it's intended in a non-confrontational manner. I think I'd rather stick to complaining online.

Well, the whole thing is just another example of inconsistency in messaging and implementation. Lots of teens most likely don't watch the news or read papers, so wouldn't have a clue TBQH.
