I booked a Vegas holiday with them and it was cancelled due to Corona. Loveholidays are only refunded me the flight payments and not the hotel. Im really pissed off and there's no phone number to call. You can't reply to their email. Never fucking booking through them again. Help me wise mumsnetters. What can I do?

Can you Facebook / Tweet them? Look on money saving expert - there is a whole forum dedicated to your rights re; holiday refunds during the pandemic. You can post there too.

I'm not on Facebook or Twitter. Maybe I'll sign up to Twitter. Is there anyone else that is in the same boat?

If you want to live chat with them you need to be there ready to go at 9am. They close the function once they reach a certain number in a queue. They're constantly being slated on Twitter. I just hope we can get our money back before they go bust

I'm in the same boat cancelled holiday a couple of weeks ago asked for a refund, separate flight refunds from Ryanair. All just a waiting game. When did your holiday get cancelled?

Shouldershrugger · 01/07/2020 11:26

@chateaukaladeiscope I had a holiday booked in May. First I was offered a refund voucher for the hotel amount. Now they're only refunding me for the flights and not the hotel.

@sparepantsandtoothbrush I'll definitely try the online chat. Thanks

I think this might have something to do with the fact they look like they’re selling you a package holiday when they’re actually not.

I spent a week in hospital with horrendous food poisoning on a LoveHolidays holiday once. The solicitor I contacted was confident I had a strong claim against them as other people had also become ill from this hotel but it turned out I couldn’t claim against them as what I’d bought thinking it was a package actually wasn’t so they had nothing to do with the hotel.

They’re extremely sneaky with how they sell holidays.

Same problem with love holidays. If you paid by credit card, make an application for chargeback from your card

lovelifehope · 01/07/2020 11:33

They were trying to take over £800 from my DDs account yesterday for a holiday she couldn’t go on. Luckily she’d cancelled all payments to them. The comments on their Facebook page from disgruntled customers are horrendous.
