To be sick of hearing “oh but the pubs are opening”

As an excuse to do what you want?

Yes pubs are opening. But it’s table service, you can only sit at a table with members of your own household, only a maximum of 6 people, and tables 1m away from anyone else. It’s not like the pubs are open for them to be packed with people crowing at bars.

They are more like cafes selling alcohol now than pubs as we used to know it.

Sick of people saying if it’s ok to pubs to open then they can ignore any other rules!

That’s the rule in my local.

But if you can mix households then that’s fine, it’s just like going to a cafe with a friend which people aren’t throwing around as an excuse!

Fine. But it's not the law. My DP bar is allowing mixed households. They can judge how many households are in one group and can choose to deny entry.
But they have enough shit going on and it's not anywhere near the top of their lists.
