Next VIP slot - site not working

Anyone else experiencing problems? I keep getting an error page when I try and add items to bag 🤬

This is definitely the worst I’ve seen the next sale online. Barely managed to get anything I’d planned from from the preview from 5pm slot.
Surely the sale can’t go live in store? The queues and the stramash of people will fly right in the face of social distancing.

My slot was 5.30pm, then it changed to 6.30pm, i. Then I logged and had to 45 mins in a queue. Got the things I needed so I'm happy.

Mine was 5.30. Then changed to 5.50. Then I was placed in a queue. Then the queue ‘paused’! Gave up. Saves me spending money I guess!

My slot was 18.30. Sat in the stupid queue for a while got in eventually to be told my slot would start in 36 minutes. So I waited...and was promptly thrown out when I clicked on the sale link. They can just fuck off now, only wanted a couple of bras their clothes are shite!

I eventually managed to order some things but it was horrendous!

My slot was 4.30. I got in at 4.28 wierdly and ordered and checked out a pair of trainers fine. Went back in to get some more and it just hung. Took forever to add to basket then kept crashing. I didn't even look at clothes or was too painful.

My slot pushed back too. Ffs

I had a 4:30 slot and it was a real pain then- took ages to let me in, ages to add anything to basket, finally got to checkout and the sodding thing crashed! Thought I’d lost the lot but then got a confirmation email. Took over 90 minutes to get my stuff- normally takes about 10.

I’ve tried to go back in but there’s a ridiculous queue now. From what’s being said on Facebook, it looks like they’re definitely pushing slots back too.

This happened to me but I lost my whole basket. When I eventually got back in, about 2 hrs later, everything I had added was sold out.

Queue is 10 minutes long even now...

@Imonaplane that sucks! I think I must’ve been very, very lucky then.

I did a normal order from next recently, had a message to say goods were due to be delivered on correct day. They weren’t and a few days later received a message saying if I hadn’t received my order and still wanted it to re-order I didn’t reorder but was charged for the first order (which had never arrived) on my statement. I tried to contact them through their website or using their callback system and that wasn’t operating. Very poor customer service, makes me very wary to order from them now.

They've definitely gone down hill in the last couple of years. I've had a next account now for nearly 25 years, back when you had the catalogue and had to phone your orders through. Rarely had a problem and on odd occasion they messed up (usually hermes) they sorted it quickly and efficiently but lately it seems to be constant issues.

They seem to have gone back to old times with the sale slots. Stupid of them to deliberately exceed capacity and lose trust.

Mine was at 10pm, eventually got on but kept getting an error message when I added something to the basket!

I didn't even get invited. Sounds like I haven't missed much.

I got loads of stuff. Won’t keep it all though.

Mine was 7pm when I finally got in it said my slot was for 9.30pm. I got the few items I really wanted for the kids bit I needed jeans in the next size up for them both for next year which were sold out in their sizes by time I got on. I will just have to try again during their winter sale but I hope they have worked out the glitches on their website by then!

Most of the stuff I ordered was branded. Next's own stuff is a bit hit and miss... mostly miss. The shoes are good for me though as they come in size 9's. Ordered quite a few pairs of shoes to try.

£10 credit from next. - won't moan at that!

Shoes were what I was after too. Managed to get Adidas superstars and converse which was what I was after. Also a pair of Nikes. Superstars were about 60-70% discount I think.

Oh yes it is going live in store - I work for Next and we open at 5am tomorrow 🤦‍♀️. It is going to be carnage if our first day of reopening last week was anything to go by. The amount of sale stock waiting to be put out on the shop floor is, as you can imagine after 3 months of no in-store sales, absolutely MASSIVE.

Please don't all come at once!

Fortunately I'm leaving soon.
