Resort recommendations for this summer

Due to lockdown easing, we are now looking into the possibility of going abroad. Our first holiday was cancelled however travel agent now says we have the option to rebook in either Ibiza or Canaries. Can anyone recommend any nice family resorts here?

Firstawake Do you think your posts are helpful? The OP wants to book a holiday which she is perfectly entitled to do. She didn’t ask whether she should or shouldn’t go.

We loved Tagoro family and hotel in Tenerife, our tui family life bahia feliz in Gran Canaria

I’m off to lanzarote in August - costa Teguise. Been before and it’s Lovely

Has anyone been to Hard Rock Hotel, Tenerife? Looks quite nice and would suit my teenagers

Yep OP I’ve been to the hard rock - gorgeous hotel but tbh not much to do there (not many additional activities aside a pool and roof top bar)- and also what I didn’t know was it’s quite north so actually you don’t get as good a sun as the more southern hotels. We had a few cloudy days.

clipclop5 hard rock hotel tenerife is meant to be nice, but pretty far removed from everything else. I'd also look at 4/5* Costa Adeje hotels. We once stayed at the Anthelia and that was wonderful but usually very pricey.

We found Costa Teguise rather dull - totally devoid of character with no real central point of interest such as a harbour, and full of British bars selling British beer and showing British football.

I do like Lanzarote though. There is lots to see and do on the island.

I like Costa Teguise because if you turn right you get to Bahia Del Duque which is a lovely beach with loos and an ice cream shop. Keep walking and you end up at Calets - with lots of traditional seafood restaurants and a surfing beach.
Turn left instead and you get the wonderful tackiness of Playa de las Americas and there is a harbour on the way.
There is also a great escape room(s) that our teen mightily enjoyed.

We did like Lanzarote as well mind.

I can't argue with that. My response was for which resort, not whether the OP should go away.

rookiemere are you confusing Costa Teguise with Costa Adeje or somewhere else? None of those other places you have mentioned are in Lanzarote.
