To email Clarks about scuffed shoes?

I brought my DC some new shoes from Clarks yesterday. One pair has a polka dot design on which has already rubbed away on the front part of the toe where she has scuffed them while wearing them.

I completely understand that kids scuff their shoes and I expect it BUT I also expect better quality for a pair of £34 leather shoes. I didn't expect the design to rub off so quickly and on the first day of wearing them. The scuff on her shoe is not a scratch/mark but the polka dot design has rubbed off in places.

AIBU to contact Clarks customer service?

Could you post a picture of the shoes so we can understand properly whether it is your child's fault or the shoes themselves?

Yes e mail, unless she dragged them along the pavement on her toe the design should not wear off that quickly. They will likely ask for a photo.
