AIBU to regret my abortion?

I had an abortion when my daughter was 9 weeks old ( 2015) we now have a son who is 16 months, but I can't stop thinking about it! Am I just crazy? I feel awful.

Oh, honey, of course you aren't unreasonable to regret it but you have to remember you did what you felt was the best thing for you at the time. Have you tried counselling? Might help you process how you feel.

Unreasonable? No. But for your peace of mind you might want to have a few therapy sessions to come to terms with it. It sounds like you are still processing and you deserve to have more peace and enjoy the children that you have right now.

You aren’t crazy. Some people are able to just move on and others can’t stop thinking about it. Some people become very distressed and struggle. Did they offer any follow up support? Talking to a councillor could really help you make sense of your thoughts. You aren’t crazy for feeling however you feel. Firstly it’s a very difficult (for lots of people) decision to make and an emotional thing to go through but remember also you have all those hormones which will be making things harder too. Please try to be kind to yourself and seek out some support

Sorry I re-read and realised it was in 2015. You still aren’t crazy for struggling, as this is ongoing please seek some help. No one will judge you and hopefully they can help you work through it

Of course you're not crazy. Everyone deals with this differently. You made your choice and had your reasons for the abortion. Please go for some counselling. You're not alone, remember that. I've made peace with my decision (probably some 20 years ago) and nowadays I don't think about it, though at the time it hideously hard.
