To ask what you’d spend 5 wishes on?

Beatrixpotterspencil · 28/06/2020 20:23

Just that, simply.
I ask myself this every few years or so, it’s interesting how much we change, how some desires remain a top priority, and some slip down the list.

Perhaps skip ‘winning lottery/being billionaire’ as it’s too obvious?
Also, these are personal, so saving the world doesn’t count, and it cuts out the accusations that we’re all selfish bustards 😁

Mine:
1/to achieve absolute inner peace and contentment.
2/to remain physically healthy.
3/to live somewhere perfectly suited to me.
4/to have a large art studio in a leafy spot.
5/to always be able to create.

Geek one, it’s just fun love, it’s ok.
I know I was trying to be funny, failed but at least I tried. I have watched too much shit tv over the years like buffy, etc to wish for anything 😂
Graphista · 28/06/2020 21:51

Haha Grin I wasn't intending to criticise just explaining my choices as being within what I think are the parameters of what you meant. No offence intended promise

Bebbanburger · 28/06/2020 21:51

I'm also a charmed fan and that also teaches wishes aren't worth the risk Grin

Beatrixpotterspencil · 28/06/2020 21:57

@graphista am using one of my two usernames, I’m familiar with you, no offence meant. I’ve made a few post recently and always manage to offend someone !

Beatrixpotterspencil · 28/06/2020 22:00

I don’t have kids, so the post about kissing deceased cat’s noses killed me.
Mine was 17, my little love.

  1. full mental and physical health for my family (mix of physical and poor mental health between all in the house)

  2. House that fits us all (we are cramped and would love room to be able to escape each other now and again)

  3. No neighbours (because current ones are arseholes and have completely put me off people).

  4. To be financially secure for the rest of our lives (one of use works and one of us is carer to disabled child and money is tight).

  5. Nothing else I want or need if the other wishes happen.

Lockheart · 28/06/2020 22:06
  1. For my dad to be cured of Parkinson's.
  2. For all my family, friends, loved ones and so forth, good health for the rest of their days. No awful dementia or pain at the end.
  3. The winning ticket for the £110m euromillions on Friday.
  4. One of two superpowers - it's a toss up between time travel or shapeshifting. I can't decide which.
  5. Henry Cavill.
Lockheart · 28/06/2020 22:08

Ah sorry, I see the lottery one is not allowed. In that case I would like to replace no. 3 with Chris Pratt.
