It's winding me up on so many levels...

The performance parenting ... it's an adult and a 5yo ... which basically means the adult is repeatedly bouncing the ball to themselves then announcing loudly each time the child manages to catch it or kick it. Then the child stands watching and squealing while the adult does "tricks".

It's been for the past hour and no sign of stopping. Friday night it lasted until 11pm. For a five year old!! It actually woke my teen one night.

There's a park less than five minutes walk away.

It's not a cul-de-sac, but a busy road with cars parked on one side and drives on the other side. Which means they constantly have to scream and run to the side to avoid the 30mph car going past.

They are right by my car.

And did I mention the bouncing?!?!

You probably all think I'm being a grumpy old woman but I feel better having a moan about it anyway Grin

Have you spoken to them about the noise?
