Bottle feeding

Hello. Im new to mumsnet. I would like to ask for an advice please. I have 5 weeks old baby. I do formula feeding and would like to ask...my baby eats every 2-3 hours, always different amounts. If i do lets say 2 oz in sterilized bottle, she drinks it and then asks for more can i make up another 1 or 2 oz in the same bottle or do i have to use clean one? Thank you.

How far apart are the two feedings? If its absolutely immediately after each other I used the same bottle just changed the teat to a sterilized one. If it's a while apart then use a clean, new bottle. That's what I did.

I always used clean bottle for each one made up. At 5 weeks though I would think she would need more than 2oz feed. I would make up a bigger feed and throw away what She doesn't take.
