To not really care if I am boring, thank you very much!!

Hands up, I am a boring person.
My life is a bit dull and I don't really do many interesting things on a daily basis. My dh is nice and normal, my dc are lovely and have no health problems and my family are on the right side of crazy. We have a boring car, go on boring holidays and have boring friends (whom I love, btw!).

So what??

If I want to post a thread asking how to get stains out of my Le Creuset, I am bl**dy well going to do it no matter what anyone says. If I had a more interesting life then I might ask advice on getting bodily fluids out of sequins thongs, but I buy mine from M&S and they are machine washable at 40 degrees.

I know that there are so many people on MN who have really difficult things to overcome and who are still nice, friendly and helpful to us boring posters. That is how it should be I think. And F*ck you if you don't agree

sugarmatches, do you have the stuff that isnt non-stick???
Le Creuset say non stick isnt needed cos it just burns off and fucks up your food.

sugarmatches · 28/09/2007 17:18

Le Crueset is non stick, but it is not that teflon crap that you usually get.

sugarmatches · 28/09/2007 17:19

I am not sure how they do it tbh...magic???

Lorayn · 28/09/2007 17:19

But it is really easy to clean and food does not stick to it. It cooks food on the ridges and the heat rises up. It does make black marks on what you are cooking from the ridges, like any grill does.

Doodle, I am the ultimate "thread killer" so don't worry your pretty little head.
We all suck a little bit some days.

TBH though, some of the more popular MNers post some right old tosh and get hundreds of replies. I could post a "my dd banged her head and now she thinks she is Dolly Parton...what should I do?" thread and I will get twelve responses!!

It is a crazy world!

Lorayn · 28/09/2007 17:32

I think doodledotoo should do it.
Doodledootoo, I dare you!

I am going to be really dull now...
LOVE my le creuset griddle. Dont like the frying pans/saucepans- prefer SKF- a little lighter and less likely to burn your food. They also go in the oven, including the frying pans. Only down side, they take a little longer to heat up.

suey2 · 28/09/2007 17:54

oh god, thread got funny when i wasn't looking! Will now disappear inot the kitchen to commune with my pans

Vikkin · 28/09/2007 17:55

Where is the thread Sugarmatches? I thought of a really funny thing I could've put on it about Dolly Parton, but I can't find where to put it.
