To ask you to help me find this discontinued perfume?

I'm looking for the Ricci Ricci perfume by Nina Ricci. Every site I've looked has poor reviews and I'm scared to buy it of eBay as a lot state no refunds or returns. It was my favourite perfume and brings back so many memories.
There must be somewhere "legit" hate that word! Where I can buy it again?

I’ve used Fragrance Direct loads of times and never been sent fakes.

On the subject of discontinued but much-loved perfume: Vivienne Westwood’s ‘Boudoir’ Sad

Was coming in to recommend Perfume Parlour - got Envy by Gucci from there and was so pleased! It looks very low budget but the perfumes are mostly brilliant.

MissBattleaxe · 27/06/2020 21:12

I've been using Fragrance Direct for years and never had a problem.

MissBattleaxe · 27/06/2020 21:20

If you ever want to find a fragrance that smells like one you miss, then go on Fragrantica, type in the name of the discontinued one and underneath there'll be smells like suggestions. For example for Ghost Serenity, they suggest Bulgari au The Vert.

My most favourite fragrance of all time is Dune by Dior. Makes me really happy when I wear it, but it’s sooooo expensive now and hard to get hold of.

FudgeBrownie2019 · 27/06/2020 21:25

Oh my goodness I had no idea you could get dupes of Cashmere Mist! Off to search!

FudgeBrownie2019 · 27/06/2020 21:25

@HelpMeDrRanj yes please - would you let me know when you do?

Solongtoshort · 27/06/2020 21:56

AltogetherAndrews and Fuckityfucksake try Home Bargains l think Sunflowers was £10 and the one Altogether was talking about was £30. I was looking today l bought Calvin Kline sheer beauty bloody lovely.

GenevaL · 27/06/2020 22:00

I’ve also used Fragrance Direct with no problems at all. Perhaps their dodgy reviews are from rivals.

roses2 · 27/06/2020 22:01

If you don't mind dupes Perfume Parlour has a lot of old perfumes and are really good quality. I buy all my perfumes from there. There are lots of positive reviews on mumsnet:

Elizabeth Arden website has Sunflowers perfume for sale. I’ve also seen it in Savers shops.

CodenameVillanelle · 27/06/2020 22:13

Perfume parlour is fantastic. I would also take a chance on eBay - I bought a slightly used bottle of Vivienne Westwood let it rock and it was totally legit.

CodenameVillanelle · 27/06/2020 22:13

You can get a refund if it's an obvious fake or smells bad because it has gone out of date on eBay too

doradoo · 27/06/2020 22:18

It's available at Amazon.de if that helps?

EveryDayIsADuvetDay · 27/06/2020 22:22

@gingerbreadslice - I've purchased from Fragrance Direct in the base (cosmetics rather than perfume) - not had any problems, nothing to make me think that known brands were fakes, and some really good surprise bargains that I added to take the total to the free delivery threshold that have been great quality.

EveryDayIsADuvetDay · 27/06/2020 22:24

in the base? in the past.
@Fuckityfucksake I've seen Sunflowers in Savers
Thank you, my local one didn't have it last time I checked. I'll try again or ask if they can get me some.

gingerbreadslice · 01/07/2020 10:44

Hi sorry I forgot to come back to this thread. the person who said about someone leaving fake reviews I think is correct. It seems to be by the same person I didn't read it properly at the time. Other reviews are great. I will order it today. Thank You Grin
