Help me light a candle!

I've found a lovely ocean scented candle in my cupboard today. I want to light it but i've always had a fear of lighters, somebody else normally does it for me

Ooh - the spaghetti tip is brilliant.
Do make sure you've not overdone the hairspray...
Life's too short not to be able to light a candle by yourself!

Two things.
1.Try it with the lighter and have a mug of water next to it. If you set your fingers on fire plunge them into it. You won't need it.

1. I have set my fingers on fire with a lighter. This is how you do it. Fill your Zippo lighter with lighter fluid. Get it all over your fingers. Don't wash your hands and spark it up to light a cigarette. Watch the pretty blue flames come off your hands. Shake your hand, go about your day.

I never set my hand on fire in 20 years of smoking with a Bic lighter. They're designed not to do that.
