Due to past experiences (in another country) I have huge anxiety when it comes to seeing a dentist even just for a check up and my teeth in general. The smell as soon as I walk through the door makes my stomach flip and my

I had a small filling in my central incisor last year and it has not fallen out but the cavity has now spread and is starting to come through in between my two front teeth and it looks very decayed and awful when I look up close. I managed to get an appointment for next week with my dentist but I'm absolutely tying myself I knots about it.
It's such a visible place I'm terrified the tooth will have to come out or I will need something drastic doing that will be really visible and will make my bad teeth look even worse. I'm getting tearful and getting knots in my stomach at the thought and I was hoping maybe knowing what to realistically expect will help ease my anxiety and help me mentally prep myself for the appointment.

Could anyone tell me what possible procedures might be needed?
Thank you
