How do I find out if my flight is cancelled

we have a holiday booked to spain for 11th July, through Hays Travel. The flights are with easyjet.

Hays Travel have advise that the holiday/flights have not been cancelled.

Easyjet's website says 50% of the flights are running.

You can only check if your flight is running if you booked directly through Easyjet, not if you booked through a travel company.

We don't mind going on holiday, we don't mind it being cancelled. Happy either way.

My concern is that we will travel to the airport to find our flights are cancelled. This would be a drama (me, DH, 2 x DC and lovely MIL who has to make a 300 mile trip to get to us, a few days before the flight, in order to come on holiday with us).

Does anyone know how I find out for sure whether our flights are still running or have been cancelled?

Just do a search on the easyJet website for your dates and destination. This is how we knew our Ryanair flight was cancelled before they told us

Surely you know the date and time of the flight so you can check on their website?

QuietlyWilting · 23/06/2020 21:01

Thanks Skigal, I tried this but can only find the same flight number for the coming weekend, nothing for July. If you look at booking it says the flight is fully booked.

You surely know when and where you are going? Even if you don’t know the flight number. Can you not check the Easinet website?

ah I found this - so 21 days should be when they tell us

Flights listed as Sold Out
We list a flight as ‘Sold Out’ when it is full, or when no more seats are on sale because we are uncertain if it will operate. An increased number of flights are currently showing as Sold Out because, in light of Covid-19 and evolving travel restrictions, we do not have certainty that some flights will operate. If you have an existing booking on a flight which now shows as ‘Sold Out’, we will be in touch at least 21 days before your departure date to confirm your travel details.

I guess I don't have complete faith in the 21 days thing....
