...to feel like this about my work?

I am lucky enough to be able to do a large part of my role from home. I have appointments through phone calls / video chats and it is admin role to get these arranged and in the diaries for me and others doing my role.

This doesn't seem to be happening as smoothly as it should and my colleagues and I have lots of gaps in our diaries, which frustrates me as I want to do my role properly and feel like I'm earning my salary. I have offered in group chats with us all (inc manager) to help make phone calls out to get slots booked in for us, but these offers don't really get answered, as really it's not my place and this would be usurping the role of admin.

But because I'm quite vocal about it, when there are appointments they mostly go to my diary rather than anyone else's doing the role! So now I'm fairly busy whilst my colleagues still have lots of slots available.

I know I've asked for this but I still feel a bit frustrated that things aren't working out more equally so that we all have similar workloads, but I feel churlish to point it out.

I am very sure that it is possible to get more appointments for everyone and there are longstanding concerns about the administrator's ability to do the role, but obviously that is not something for me to get too concerned about - it's my manager's lookout really.

YABU - You've asked for more appointments and you're getting them, you have nothing to complain about.

YANBU - That sounds unfair, you should try to say something.

You've got what you asked for. I work much faster than the rest of my team so I've pushed and pushed to be given more work to fill up my time. Now I've got my wish and my days are so much more fulfilling - and go so much faster - when I'm not sitting around doing nothing.

Unless you're having to do overtime while your colleagues slack off, I'd drop it.

Have a chat with just your manager- this is their problem to solve. Or they should promote you so you can solve it!!! Yanbu
