To ask how you would rate yourself?

Okay, it’s outdated. But just out of interest, how would you rate yourself (looks I guess) out of 10?

Someone asked me last week and it threw me because I haven’t thought about that type of scale since my teens.

Urgh. Time to get some self respect OP.

No decent person over the age of 14 'rates' themselves or others.

The question was a bit creepy tbh. I’ve not heard anyone ask that in 10 years! But it did make me wonder if people still put themselves on the scale.

For the record, I didn’t have an answer to this person! I still haven’t figured it out. Trying to score myself means scoring myself against others, surely? And that’s all subjective.

No. Nobody beyond the age of 13 should be thinking like this.

Rate yourself for whom? Some wankpot of a man?

Saracen · 22/06/2020 23:50

No. I could rate myself based on how good a friend I was, or how honest etc because those are within my power to change, which I might well want to change, and I think it can sometimes be worth trying to take a good look at myself in that sense.

But looks? No. I am not a fashion model, so it isn't something I need to care about.

I’m a 10+
