Do we have to self isolate again?

Basically DH came down with a cough last week. All went into isolation. He booked a test and it came back negative so stopped self isolating. Now DS (3) has come down with a cough too. He hasn't been anywhere that we haven't so do we safely assume that he has what DH had (not covid) or do we have to isolate and book him a test? Posting for traffic.

You need to isolate and book him a test.

Mummyshark2019 · 22/06/2020 16:37

Isolate and book test.

Heko · 22/06/2020 17:11

You should self isolate, but personally, I wouldn't.

Pieceofpurplesky · 22/06/2020 17:39

Ignore Heko. Isolate and test. This is how it stops

BankofNook · 22/06/2020 17:45

There's always one...

Kahiki · 22/06/2020 17:47

Why wouldn’t you?

SunbathingDragon · 22/06/2020 17:54

Isolate and test. Remember a significant percentage of negatives are false results, so it doesn’t rule out your DH having had it.

Isolate and book a test. One of you could have picked it up in the time since you stopped isolating and been asymptomatic.
