Sneeze so loud?????

I have yet to meet a man that has the ability to do it quietly!

I can’t sneeze quietly. It’s not just a man thing

I'm a woman with a loud sneeze.
If I feel it coming I can control it by clamping my mouth shut but it is very painful. It feels as though the force of the sneeze rams my palate onto my brain.

Most of the time however I don't know I'm going to sneeze until I have sneezed, like with hiccups. (Fortunately without the frequency of hiccups.)

My DP hates my dramatic sneezes, but it's my yawning that causes the biggest issue. I do what feels like a normal yawn, like the only type of yawn I can do, and she starts like a frightened doe.

I have taken to saying 'yawn!' or 'sneeze!' if I feel one coming so she can brace herself, but I don't always know myself.

The performance sneezer in my home is my mother.

My OH and adut DS are both quiet sneezers.
