Social distancing and groups of people

Been for a walk today. Passed local school sports field. Not fenced off and it's a right of way. Groups of people on the field having picnics and games. 10 or more in a few of the group's. Am I missing something?

Meh. We have a similar field. Group of teens playing skins v shirts rugby, another group playing football and then smaller clusters of people chilling out. And this is Wales so further behind then elsewhere. I think people are done now.

It's supposed to only be 6 people all 2 metres apart but after the BLM protests and photos of people on the beach , and shops opening i don't think anyone much cares, there's been no second wave

I imagine people see on the nees, packed beaches, protests and shops open, and think fuck it.
Hopefully it won't lead to another peak.

The thing is those of us who have been working all along ,closer than 2 metres, want to have fun outside of work, sorry if thats selfish !

You shouldn’t have been working closer than 2m and having been working all this time doesn’t allow you to break the guidelines on your own selfish whims.

You can “have fun outside of work” by observing government guidelines.

@bigchris I have to be honest. I know it's wrong and they're breaking the rules. But after weeks and weeks of soulless walking and avoiding people it's like there's finally life back in the area.
I was sat with my kids well away but just looking around everyone was happy. The lads were laughing and excising. It was just really lovely.

@AskingforaBaskin surely the point of furlough were for people who were in non essential roles to not go to work?

Why are you rolling barrels ? Are you draymen as no pubs are open and ours aren't delivering ?

They are opening a week on Monday so people need to start getting ready now ! Plus plenty of places are selling takeaway beer which is allowed

Yawn... People who are at low risk are fed up of the massive sacrifices they have been making for the last three months in the name of saving other people's lives. This isn't exactly news is it? To be honest I think all the mass protests were the nail in the coffin of people feeling they need to observe the rules to the letter.

But my husbands pub is opening soon and he's back in work full time. Him and his deputy have to empty the cellar and move 70 kegs to another part of the pub. So how do they do that 2m apart?
