I live in a very small but popular seaside place. Stats rising here due to easing of lockdown and visitors maybe (?)..
Latest hospital death here was a 13 day old baby sadly..all over local news.
Front street is like a circus of bikes /prams /ddogs and dc. A massive wave of activity.
*I can see from my window zero social distancing.

I watched a family unload a car today with a new baby so brand new it was still pink..
Wtaf would you do that??
What goes through the minds of people?

I imagine the baby was at more risk in the hospital it was born in than it is at the sea front.

Fresh air is good for you. Try it! Might make you feel better.

Ffs how long do you expect the newborn to be locked up for ?!

BritWifeinUSA · 20/06/2020 16:07

The 13-day-old baby tested positive for coronavirus. But, per the news reports, it’s not know if that was the cause of the death. The baby may have had an underlying fatal condition that had not been spotted yet.

Did you spy on people from your windows pre-COVID? You might need to find another hobby. Let people do what they want.

What goes through their minds? They probably weigh up the risks of a day out on the beach, which are minimal compared with spending months and months of your life (or longer) indoors all of the time. What's wrong with walking dogs, pushing buggies, letting the kids have a run around and ride their bikes?
