Be cleaner and tidier or he can move back to uni accommodation early.

I can't stand it any more. His room is filthy, so is his en suite. Full of dirty washing, food rubbish and dirty dishes despite the rule that there is no food in the rooms. He leaves a mess anywhere he goes, empty packets and boxes, messy sides, crockery.

I have asked and I have told. He is 19, finished Uni for the summer and is on furlough from his PT job, so is doing nothing all day. He pays no rent by agreement and I am fine with this, but he is taking the piss and is an adult, so should start acting like one.

so AIBU?

My 18 and 13 year olds have been told to stop leaving stuff around the house or it goes in the bin, they didn't believe me. I'm just waiting for one of them to start looking for what they dumped.

Try the local landfill boys, I warned you many times.
