I've only deleted the app from my phone but somehow it feels very liberating.

That's reassuring to know a lot of you think the same!
I just feel it's turned into a bit of a competition thing.. a pressure to post stuff and look popular/exciting lives etc..
I know I'm a cynical cow etc but that's how I feel right now.
I'm an introvert though and tend to want to hide away from the world.. - that's just me though I know everyone is different.

Does anyone know if I can keep Messenger if I snooze FB? I use Messenger to contact DC x

AIMD · 21/06/2020 14:22

@TheQueensCousin yes you can.
I temporarily closed my fb account but could still use messenger but had to sign in.

TheQueensCousin · 22/10/2020 20:26

Thank you @AIMD sorry for the delay in replying 😊

I deleted and for a week was still going to press icon when I was having a coffee break.

I have a couple of groups on Facebook that have been lifesavers just recently, the support I have had from them since DP developed jaundice has been amazing.

I deleted Facebook 6 years ago. I found i was scrolling endlessly for no need at all. There was far too much gossip and drama for my liking. Now I have a peaceful life, no one knows my business and the people I speak to I have there numbers on wasap

annabel85 · 22/10/2020 20:46

Never used it in my life. I'd find it pointless.

I prefer Instagram. I hardly check Facebook or messenger now Wink
