Toothpaste

DD2 (age 7) does not like mint, and won’t use mint toothpaste. We use a strawberry one, all fine. But the dentist has said that it needs to be at least 1400ppm fluoride. Ours isn’t, it’s 1000ppm. I am struggling to find a toothpaste that isn’t mint but has the right fluoride level.
Any recommendations?

Oranurse is unflavoured and still has good fluoride levels

Boots has a kids colgate one showing online that is strawberry flavoured

I might need to go to Boots and look at the packet. I saw the Colgate one online but couldn’t find a fluoride content. Thank you for answering.

These are both 1450 ppm F - my children don’t like mint either (the left one is Sainsburys own make). I asked our dentist about the ages on toothpaste as they have the same fluoride and she said the ages don’t matter, just make sure they don’t swallow the toothpaste but spit it out.

DS is exactly the same. We use that Sainsbury's toothpaste user posted the picture of. The fluoride is 1450ppm.

It stinks!

I am after adult non-mint toothpaste (for DS) so would welcome suggestions on that if anyone knowledgeable is reading.

All the ones shown have adult levels of fluoride

Children’s toothpaste( 6+) and adult toothpaste have the same amount of fluoride. So adults can use children’s toothpaste.
Remember not to swill after brushing though otherwise only the plug hole gets the benefit.

That is brilliant. Thank you people. I seemed to just keep finding ones with much lower levels of fluoride.

I have the exact same issue at 34 and have always used Signal toothpaste. You tend to find it in Savers type shops. I have no idea what I'll do if they ever stop making it!

Aqua fresh do a watermelon flavour. I buy it in asda for my daughter. £2 a tube.

A fluoride non alcoholic mouthwash a good 30-60 min later possibly?

Children’s toothpaste until age 7 is 1100 ppm
Adults toothpaste is 1450ppm
You can get stronger on prescription

I get oranurse on Amazon.

Most kids toothpaste after age 1 or 2 is 1450ppm

the toothpastes mentioned above from age 3 are all 1450ppm
