Aibu to make iced coffee with no milk?

Need some opinions - I saw a recipe on google for iced coffee but sadly I don't have any milk or cream left in the house - however I do have ice cream. I have all other ingredients

Do I:

a) Make iced coffee with no milk/cream etc
b) Try and make it with ice cream?

Or would both taste horrible? I've just been craving it lately

Try it, the worst that is going to happen is you are going to have a drink you dislike.

It's delicious with ice cream but is a dessert rather than a drink - affogato!

Can't you just melt the ice cream so it's a liquid? Sounds quite nice tbf

Dh has an espresso machine and we’ve been rocking a nightly affogato here!

If you make it without milk, it's basically an Espresso Freddo

Make a double espresso, put it in a cocktail shaker (or clean jar) with plenty of ice cubes and shake until the ice cubes have melted.

Pour over more ice cubes.

It can be nice, but imo the coffee itself needs to be ice cold before adding the ice cream.
So make iced coffee and then add ice cream (until it is milkshake like consistency) yum!

Affogato is amazingly delicious. Put good vanilla ice cream in a bowl and pour good espresso over it. You WBVU not to try it.

I make a jug of coffee that I place in the fridge with ice in and during the day I have it black, a little milk or half/half. Not to keen on cream or ice cream but do indulge in a nighttime baileys one. Love my iced coffee.

Mmm affagato. Nespresso did capsules specially for iced black coffee last year. The recipe included syrup but it was nice as it was.
