I have been in floods of tears about this. Sluices well and truly opened. I remember this story unfolding. I didn’t get to meet them, I think at the time they were in Camden and just didn’t get round to it. (My dear senior cat has just turned 15 and had a health scare this year, I am trying to get my head around the fact that I may not see him alive again so this touched a raw nerve) RIP Bob, you most splendid cat 🌈❤️

I saw Bob (and presumably James!) outside Angel tube years ago. I was gob smacked in amazement at seeing a cat just sitting there looking perfectly calm and relaxed outside a busy tube station on a busy road. RIP Bob

Ahh I saw him at the London Cat show in January but he was more interested in going outside so I didn’t get a picture! So sad.

To be fair, James doesn't know how old Bob was when he found him - the announcement just says he was "at least" 14. So sad, I was on the same tube as them once, so start struck! RIP Bob x

My dd is in tears at the news. She is autistic and absolutely adores cats. Bob was a beautiful looking cat and with such an amazing temperament. Rest In Peace Bob. You’ll be missed. 🌈⭐️

I cried when I heard yesterday, what a truly special cat. I hope James will be ok without him. We met them at a book signing a few years ago.

Our late cat who died in Oct 2016 used to follow DH to the corner shop wait under a hedge and follow him back.
