Has anyone bought a car from buyacar.co.uk? I am trying to work out if it is legit and if anyone has used them, how did it go? Thanks

Always view a car in person

I agree to a point but there are a few companies that sell online now and you access it when it is delivered like cazoo etc. This one isnt asking for any bank transfers but you can apply for finance. They've got a trust pilot review page also. I'm just wary as I know people have been scammed before

I have bought 3 Audi's online without viewing them. All second hand and directly from a main Audi dealer. No issues at all. Any problems they have a 12 month warranty and you just go to your local dealership. My last Audi i bought from a local Audi dealership and inspected/test drove and it was so much more hassle than doing everything on line.

Hi @Justkeepswimmingdory

I work with BuyaCar and we're owned by Dennis Publishing, the people who publish The Week and lots of Britain's favourite websites - so there is no risk at all of being scammed by BuyaCar.

i would happily buy a car remotely and have done before with certain main dealerships where they send you video and spec details.

I wouldn't personally buy from the outfit in the OP's description.
