To ask what this drink was called?

Sorry, only posting here for the chance of getting more views and hopefully the answer, but this is driving me mad. Can anyone remember an advert in the late 70's for what I think was the forerunner of SlimFast type weight loss drink. There was just a woman in it, I think she was dressed in a fairly plain brown skirt & jumper and she had curly brown hair. I remember she was possibly Liverpudlian and she would mix the drink and say words to the effect "two glasses of *** each day and you'll lose weight" Then the next scene was a few weeks later and she was showing how much she'd lost. I'm fairly sure it wasn't called Slim Fast back then.....I keep thinking it was Complan, but that was something you had when you'd been ill, so couldn't have been. Can anyone remember, please?

Slender? That was a diet drink in the 70s

TheCatsBlanket · 15/06/2020 23:30

That rings a bell, but I've just tried on Youtube to find the advert I'm thinking of using Carnation slender as the topic and all i can find is something with Michael Aspel in it and not the Scouse woman

So there’s one on YouTube if you search for Carnation Build-Up shake, sounds northern and is wearing a caramel coloured jumper

LouiseTrees · 15/06/2020 23:37

Ah yeh couldn’t find the actual ad but the build up woman mentions Slender as it’s the same makers.
