AIBU thinking a colleague isn’t talking to me?

We got on really well in the office. I had just started the job and would have a few chats. I’ve messaged her saying I hope she’s ok (not out of the blue) and also asked her a work question. No response.

On team chats she’s been fine with me, we don’t have that much interaction.

Another girl I work with who I wouldn’t say we had any sort of good relationship is calling me and offering support.

Maybe she's busy and hasn't had time to message you

Ask the work related question on the team chat.

She may be doing what is often suggested on here - setting boundaries with work colleagues.

I’m probably being overly sensitive haha.

The work related question was clarity on what we needed to do as part of mine/her job. My manager wouldn’t know because it’s an admin thing. My manager is also new.

It’s all ok though because we get on well on the office.... I’m pretty quite and she initiates convos etc.

It’s all ok though. I’m sure when/if we get back in the office it will be ok. Haha

Where are you messaging her? Email, work IM, WhatsApp?

I'm terrible for seeing and then responding to text messages and WhatsApp, because my phone is usually on silent in another room, but I respond quickly to emails/Microsoft Teams messages/IMs.
