9am appointment tomorrow.. Gp thinks its cervical erosion but wants second opinion. Its for my dd 20..she is so nervous. Will they give her the OK straight way?

I've had two and haven't had the full results, on the day, it's been within five days. It might be more simpler in someone younger who hasn't had children.

No. They have to be interpreted.

When I had mine they said straight away what they saw, if you have to have biopsies you would have to wait for the results of them tho.

I just want to prepare her.. The gp told her she would get the all clear on the day as they will use a dye and know if there is something wrong. So shall she not panic if they want to do a biopsy?

Yeah that’s how they check for cervical erosion, I had it done, it bloody hurt! I doubt she’ll need biopsies, it’s just if they see anything unexpected but they would tell you there and then, hope all goes well!
