To ask about when you quit smoking?

Today is day 1 of no smoking. I quit before for 3 months but started again a month ago, I'm determined not to do the same again. I've done well today and not really craving. I have a vape and am using that.

TMI but I just brought up mucus with little black streaks in it. Did anyone else experience this either with quitting smoking or beginning to vape?

I've gone off it recently and now the thought makes me feel sick which I guess made it really easy for me. Good luck!

Well done! Yes I felt the same the first time I quit and stupidly started again. I missed it last time though and now I dont so that's a start. Just a bit concerned about the black stuff I'm brining up.

I gave up about 10 years ago, alter many years of desperately trying. It was the best and hardest thing I’ve ever done.

As it is, after 35 odd years of smoking I have mild COPD. Which puts me in the high risk category for COVID-19.

Please, please persevere. Good luck.

Went cold turkey almost 9 years ago. Had had a chest infection and really didn't fancy smoking again afterwards. Had no problems since other than my sense of smell is pretty poor. Good luck.
