Accidentally got superglue on the arm of my sofa. Tried getting it off, now it's like this. The leather is flaking on parts. Is there anyway I can get some kinda thing to restore it somehow? Like shoe polish but leather polish? I don't know I'm no good at things like this!

Hang on til tomorrow, can you? I've got a old hide chesterfield and I use a specialist cleaner stuff followed by a polish, which should do the trick. I've just looked in my cupboard but there isn't a light in there and it's gone 11pm, so I'll look tomorrow morning and get back to you, unless someone else can help you before then.

Thanks! It's just so annoying and it looks really tacky now Sad

Right! You know that series What We Do in the Shadows? Well, in the shadows of my walk in cupboard, spiders copulateShock A whole family of them, mum, dad, and babies, came scurrying out, blinking in the daylightGrin
So then, to your superglued sofa..have you removed all the glue? Cos that's your first stage..
Then clean it. I use CONNOLLY Concentrated Leather Cleaner. Instructions on the bottle, but as it's concentratedWink it lasts for years.
Afterwards, use Connolly Hide Care, which will feed and polish the leather.
And then you need lots of soft cloths for both stages and elbow powerGrin
Years ago a friend bought a pony for her daughter and all the tack. Some of the tack was really old and 'starved', so in return for manure for my veg.garden (and roses) I cleaned the saddle and tack. Came up a treat! Pony was a stubborn evil little sod, tho....
All the best and good luck!
