WIBU to stay overnight with my parents?

I know people have real problems and there are important issues going on in the world right now. But right now, typing this at 04:39 in the morning, my biggest issue is that I cannot sleep. Over the last few nights DH has woken me up at silly hours snoring. We are in the process of redecorating and got rid of our spare bed. Currently waiting on the sofa bed to arrive. Tried sleeping on the sofa but it hurts my back and neck too much. I'm absolutely shattered and just want ONE good night's sleep. I'm seeing my mum & dad for a walk tomorrow - I know it's massively against the rules but WIBU to stay overnight in their spare room? I don't know what to do and I'm losing my mind with exhaustion.

Can’t DH sleep on the couch so you can have one nights sleep?

Midsommar · 13/06/2020 04:45

He did the other night but he woke up in agony. Our settee is quite deep and not very long so it isn't comfortable to sleep on.

Send DH downstairs sofa cushions on the floor?

Racoonworld · 13/06/2020 04:52

Yes you would be unreasonable to sleep over for this reason. People are really struggling yet are keeping to the rules. One of you sleeps on the sofa.

Midsommar · 13/06/2020 04:53

@Whatelsecouldibecalled I've done exactly that - however it's me who has gone downstairs, not him (my choice)

@Racoonworld you're probably right. Gonna get the airbed down from the loft tomorrow (forgot we had it in my sleep deprived state)

Has DH tried anything to help ease the snoring like the nose things?
YANBU in my view to stay with your parents so you can sleep well in the meantime.

Lockdownhairdontcare · 13/06/2020 04:56

I personally wouldn’t, and I say this as someone who just sent a clip of my husband snoring to my friend under the heading ‘if I kill him use this in my defence’ (clearly my dark humour).

Amazon prime earplugs (me), nasal strips and anti snore pillow arriving today.

Midsommar · 13/06/2020 05:01

@Mixedandproud no he hasn't tried anything. I can usually sleep through it no problem. I'm not sleeping well at the moment.
@Lockdownhairdontcare can you let me know if those products work please?
