On the back of another thread, do you think you can say yes these lips have fillers or no they don’t?

Answers on a postcard....

No, they look natural to me. I have a defined line around my top lip, some people do!
They look very nice OP, don't ask stuff like that on here tho, anon posters can be bitchy as Hell!

HepzibahGreen · 13/06/2020 11:07

Oh that's funny, I only read page 1 Grin

midnightstar66 · 13/06/2020 11:08

They are either filled or you are making the effort to make the pout that is there naturally with most filled lips. Difficult to tell really with such edited pictures which of the 2 it is

Coconuttts · 13/06/2020 11:11

They look good, but if you scrutinise the second lot of pics I’d say yes.

midnightstar66 · 13/06/2020 11:11

Clearly didn't rtft - I see it was the latter 😆

caperberries · 13/06/2020 11:16

I have (subtle) fillers. It’s difficult to tell in pictures, but they are usually more apparent in person, just like Botox etc

I swear I wasn’t pouting, I’d just got lips that make me look like I am 😂 they’ve been a curse at times lol

You can tell

buildingbridge · 13/06/2020 11:17

Yes, it looks like you have fillers.

CrazyToast · 13/06/2020 11:21

I was once on a thread saying 'you can always tell if a woman is trans'. So I posted a pic of a female and said 'even her'? and they all said 'yes you can totally tell that is a man'. So I think there may be a degree of confirmation bias in posts like this, cos you've already told us there are fillers.

I would have to see your whole face and even whole self and how your lips fit, to tell.

dontgobaconmyheart · 13/06/2020 11:26

OP I don't think it looks particularly like you have fillers- I just think its the heavy gloss that gives the look and how it catches the light. If you'd shown them without I expect they'd look fairly different and it would have been easier to say. The gloss reflects the light and you can't see that much.

My lips change in size all the time, surely everyones do? If I'm dehydrated they're visibly smaller, visibly smaller if I don't use lip balm or exfoliate etc. I have fairly big lips but never get asked if I have filler- they're too wrinkly and uneven Grin I'd want a refund.

silverstarsandhearts · 13/06/2020 11:26

I would def not be able to tell unless your lips were non existent before. A friend of mine had hers done and I only noticed when I was really close to her and she was talking for a while.

I don't think others notice these kind of things as much as we think they do. Unless you have a massive amount of filler put in your lips, you overdo the botox or have really dark microbladed eyebrows.

Your lips look pretty natural to me.

CrazyToast · 13/06/2020 11:27

Lol just saw your follow up--- that was my own confirmation bias cos you didn't actually say there were fillers in your OP!

You have nice lips.

Jezebel101 · 13/06/2020 11:32

I've a fuller bottom lip than top, similar to OP. I don't think they look filled and I don't think they need filler.
You've a lovely defined mouth and bow and if they are filled, well done. If they aren't, well done.

Branleuse · 13/06/2020 11:44

@starcup I havent had fillers, but ive been asked 2 or 3 times if I have. Thsts why I asked. I seem to have that ridge that people think is a giveaway.

I do think that fillers are often noticeable and quite unnerving in real life. Not always though.
I do hope the trend dies off soon

feelingfragile · 13/06/2020 11:51

I think it looks like fillers

InescapableDeath · 13/06/2020 11:52

I know you've said unfillered...

For me it depends if you knew the person before. I know a young woman who had them done and I think they look bloody horrendous and really obvious - but for all I know, if you don't see the difference, you don't see it!

feelingfragile · 13/06/2020 11:54

Grin thought I'd got to the end of the thread when I commented and then more loaded- sorry!

TumbledGlass · 13/06/2020 11:59

I have seen a lot of lips with fillers, a friend of mine is in that line of work so she's often posting before and after pics of her clients on Facebook.
Most of the ones I've seen, even if they aren't that much bigger, tend to have a kind of highlighted/ white ridge just outside the natural lip-line.

I think, as with a lot of similar procedures, the key is knowing when to stop!

Abitouting · 13/06/2020 12:18

To me it's not how "big" they are, but more how puffy they are. They look fine though and many people probably wouldn't be able to tell.

EmeraldShamrock · 13/06/2020 12:25

@Branleuse I knew they are real even and in proportion.
@rayas the outer line makes me think yes?

Trevsadick · 13/06/2020 12:30

that was my own confirmation bias cos you didn't actually say there were fillers in your OP!

Or you are just wrong and often people think someone has had fillers and they haven't.

*They look fine though and many people probably wouldn't be able to tell

Tell what?

wanderlove · 13/06/2020 13:41

I'm not sure but I'm really thinking about it. If I saw this person In real life and wasn't thinking about fillers I don't think I would immediately think they had. They look natural to me if they have had fillers

Ninkanink · 13/06/2020 13:42

Saying ‘it is always possible to tell that lips are filled’ is not the same as saying ‘it is always possible to tell that natural lips are not filled.’
