I keep seeing them on social media:
uk.cuddleandkind.com/
Their cheapest dolls are some 50-60 quid, and they say for every doll they donate 10 meals to kids in need. According to feedingamerica, 10 meals cost exactly.... a dollar. Not a huge part of their profits, is it? OK, the dolls are handmade, fair trade, and I am sure they're quite nice. But in their advertising everywhere they make it seem like buying their products is akin to giving to charity. Whereas you could also buy your DC a stuffed toy at Boots, donate your remaining 55 quid directly and provide 690 meals to hungry kids.
