To think its a bit weird to refer to your vulva as a separate person?

I am on an online women's support group. It's generally good but I can't help but notice that a lot of the women refer to their vulva in the third person. Not only that, but they talk about their vulva as a person with her own thoughts and feelings, who you can talk to and build a relationship with. I find it a bit odd.

Nope

Very weird, and I asked Ms Noonoo McFoof and she agreed too.

I think they are spiritual types who do this. The seem to regard their vulva as a completely independent person, with her own perspectives and motivations, which you have to try to understand and work with to have a happy sexual life.

@MuthaClucker, So are you Scottish too, or does your vulva have her own nationality?

This is reminding me of those Wicked Willie books.

Yes, it’s weird.

They probably think of it as the spiritual centre of their womanhood and talk about it in the same way people refer to their heart or their soul as almost a separate entity for example my heart tells me xyz or my soul feels abc.

I could also be completely wrong though and they just think they have an opinionated fanny.

Blackdoggotmytonguestill · 10/06/2020 15:23

This reminds me of Pitch Perfect and the character who uses male pronouns for hers ‘he’s hungry’.

OpinionatedFanny would be a great username.

Yes it would be Grin
